A new concept in the production of hydrogen from Biogas

The BIONICO project aims to develop a new reactor concept in a real biogas plant (TRL6) that integrates the production and separation of H₂ in a single medium. The production capacity of hydrogen will be 100 kg / day. By using the new intensified reactor, the direct conversion of biogas into pure hydrogen will be achieved in a single step, which will result in an increase in overall efficiency and a sharp decrease in volumes and auxiliary heat management units.
